My Good friend John Kenn Mortensen has been producing a vast variety of the most awesome post-it drawings you have ever laid eyes on. We used to work at the same studio and the wall next to his workspace was crowded with these amazing small pieces of art. He is selling them for the sweet sum of only 10 Euros per piece – worth every penny, and they look mindboggling beautiful in frames around the house. A lot of the artists will attend the opening night, including Shag!
One of the special features of this show will be several hand-painted and artistically modified ukuleles, as well as prints, photographs, paintings and sculptures, bringing the Hawaiian spirit to Berlin.After the opening in Friedrichshain, Strychnin and our partner DRESS-O-RAMA are presenting a rockin’ party from 10 pm onwards at The Roadrunner’s Rock & Motor Club in Prenzlauer Berg with Tiki DJ Kahuna Kawentzmann and a live performance by the wild sixties surf band The Montesas.

WUOAU!’s number one Christmas market recommendation is HOLY SHIT SHOPPING. It’s also an indoor event and it’s huge! More than 150 designers, creatives and artists* are occupying more than 2000qm selling fashion, jewellery, accessoires, art, illustration, fine art, literature and much more. Various DJs will play pleasant music and there’s always some kind of tombola. If you don’t find every single gift there, you’re a lost cause.
