‘So Sorry’, the title of Ai Weiwei’s exhibition, refers to the thousands of apologies expressed recently by governments, industries and financial corporations worldwide, in an effort to make up for tragedies and wrong doings – though often without shouldering the consequences or the desire to acknowledge let alone repair. Saying sorry – or not saying it – is in the headlines everywhere and thus also in China. It seems, however, that the expression ’sorry’ has taken on the meaning of ‘fuck off’. Since to apologise also means that it is too late to make amends. Do we really want to buy into ’so sorry’? And should we not find new ways to say sorry and to express our regrets? Do we need a different culture of apologising?
The exhibition ends on January 17th, only a few days left to go there!

Christen is leaving for Barcelona tomorrow to take part in an exhibition featuring 11 international artists. He just finished the 4 paintings he created for the show and uploaded a video of his work. Every painting has two layers: one visible layer with acrylics, and one with a special ultraviolet paint only visible under black light. Great job, mister!

The role of the visionary, whether artist, philosopher, or musician, is to give form to what is unseen, not perceived by others. Visionaries are those who express the future, set the goals, or give the warnings. Visionaries are the antidote to fundamentalism and limited thinking.
Our focus is on the fantastical Visionaries, those more preoccupied with their inner world. With symbolism, it often shares its choice of themes such as mythology, occultism and mysticism, and generally seeks to depict the inner life.
Fantastic visionaries, follow no manifesto, or even any particular “master”, owing to the fact that it is the outward expression of their own inner experiences. However there are recognizably similar energies and motivations behind the individual facades of expression the artwork.

Where the Wild Things Are is the tale of a young boy named Max who decides to run away and join the Wild Things. This delightfully intriguing story has captivated audiences for over 45 years, and now Medicom has taken the distinctive characters of this Caldecott Medal-winning picture book and transformed them into a series of exceptionally detailed, extremely desirable collectibles!
